The Kids and Teens College instructors are qualified and credentialed in the subject areas they teach. Past background check completed through the Broward College approval process.
1. What is the purpose of this program?
Broward College provides an innovative and immersive learning experience preparing and empowering the next generation of leaders.
2. How will this program benefit my child's academic and professional development?
Students will have a chance to learn-as they-go via virtual reality simulated work experience. This allows them to apply what they’ve learned in a safe environment, with professional feedback.
3.What are the age requirements to participate in this program?
10-17 (some restrictions apply)
4. How long does the program last and what is the schedule like?
This is a 6 week program with the options for weekly and daily workshops.
5. Are there any prerequisites or prior knowledge required to enroll?
No, the program builds on existing knowledge/skills.
6. What subjects or topics will be covered in the program curriculum?

7. Will my child receive any or recognition upon completing the program?
Yes, each program upon completion will issue a micro credential
8. Are there any opportunities for workplace simulation or job shadowing as part of the program?
Yes, virtual and simulated opportunities are embedded in most courses (see course description)

10. How much does the program cost and are there any financial aid options available?
Prices varies, some scholarship may be available.
