Broward UP (Unlimited Potential) has expanded Broward College's service model to ensure all Broward County residents have access to post-secondary education. Through Broward UP, Broward College is offering FREE workforce training and student support services online and directly in neighborhoods throughout Broward County. Our goal is to help you get the training needed to find a good job, make more money, and get the skills needed to thrive in your career.

Our Broward UP instructors, staff, and community partners are invested in your success, so we are bringing everything you need directly to you. YOU are college material, and YOU have what it takes to thrive in your career. Broward UP Eligibility and Funding
Eligibility: Students must be 18 years of age or older for most Broward UP courses. For Health Care
courses, applicants must also have completed a high school diploma or GED. If you have not completed
a high school diploma or GED, we can assist you through our Adult Education program.
Funding: Through grant funding, Broward UP offers free courses and workshops to qualifying students
who reside in the following zip codes: 33309, 33311, 33313, 33314, 33319, 33023, 33020, 33069, 33064,
33441, and 33065.
Other internal and external funding opportunities may be available for eligible students outside of these
areas. The Career Pathway Navigator team assists students with determining available opportunities.
Broward UP is dedicated to working with our community partners to provide an education to everyone in Broward County.
Broward College has something for everyone. Attend an information session to learn about the FREE training opportunities and support services available through Broward UP.
The Broward UP Adult Education program is for individuals who do not have a high school diploma and who would like to earn a general education diploma (GED) while also pursuing a trade.
Broward UP Workforce Training courses are great options for individuals who have already earned a high school diploma or GED. These programs lead to skills and credentials needed for in-demand careers and can even stack into technical certificate and degree programs.
