Steps to enroll
You will interact with international and local students from all over the world. You will enjoy state-of-the-art facilities. You will participate in cultural and educational events and field trips. You will have access to discounts for local events, public transportation, restaurants, stores, movies, etc. Our proven EnterTrainingSM methodology is taught by certified faculty who hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Modern Languages, Applied Linguistics and/or Literature, English, Education; or a bachelor's degree in another field with at least three years of teaching experience and a TESOL/CELTA endorsement. In addition, most of our professors hold graduate degrees and prior college teaching experience. These professionals are trained in our methodology to ensure creative and dynamic classes where verbal communication skills are always enhanced. Last but not least, Lingua holds affiliations with numerous international and domestic higher education institutions, offering you individualized placement orientation and support in any of these colleges and universities.
Lingua Language Center at Broward College offers the IEP for a period of 12 weeks per level for a total of eight levels, and four upper-level courses of 12 weeks each. You will typically attend the class for 16 to 18 hours per week, depending on your status/needs. Classes start every Monday. You may enroll for as little as two weeks or up to one year which can be extended until the program is completed. We offer morning, afternoon, and evening classes, in-person and interactive online. You may also transfer to Broward College upon completion of level 7B, and you may also ease the process by enrolling at Broward College at the same time you enroll at Lingua.
Prices will vary depending upon how many total weeks are purchased. Our pricing system offers embedded discounts of up to 25% when you enroll in multiple modules for students who pay for their program of study in advance. You can pay by check, eCheck, credit card, or wire transfer. Long-term students opting to pay by eCheck will receive an additional 3.5% discount and those who pay for one year in advance will receive an additional 5% discount.
You are eligible for the Intensive English Program (IEP), IEP+, and any program of your interest, as long as the IEP requirements are fulfilled. Whether you are an international foreign student abroad or in the US, if you should desire a course of study for longer than three months, then you would need to process an F-1 Visa. Should you wish to study in the US for more than three months, you must apply for an F-1 visa. You may do so from abroad (initial) or from the US while under another visa, (change of status). Should you already have an F-1 visa from another certified school but would like to apply to Lingua, we will process your transfer. In any of the above instances, you must follow these steps to study at Lingua under an F-1 visa:

If you are a tourist for a period of fewer than three months, I do not need to process a change of status. I am eligible to participate in SIEP, PTE, or any other program under 18 hours of class per week.
