Project RENEW (Refugees Entering New Enterprises and Workforce) is a comprehensive program that provides FREE English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) for eligible refugees, asylees, and victims of human trafficking living in Broward County. Project RENEW serves students from all over the world. We have 6 levels within the program and each student receives an onsite English Language assessment to determine his/her level.

Students must complete ESOL level three to be eligible to be enrolled in Continuing Education Workforce/Vocational courses.
RENEW services are FREE for eligible students.
Course materials are provided for in-class use at no charge.
Students are expected to notify their instructor and/or their advisor when he/she is absent. After three consecutive absences without notification, the student will be withdrawn from the class
If a student misses a class meeting, he/she is responsible for all work done in class and homework is due upon return.

Child Care: RENEW refers eligible participants to child care assistance programs
Employment: RENEW refers participants to local job service providers for employment assistance
Transcript Translation/Evaluation: RENEW refers participants to the refugee job service provider for transcript translation/evaluation
